Configured minimum
Section titled “Configured minimum”The application configuration declares macOS 12.0 as its minimum system version. This is not a complete compatibility matrix or a promise that every workflow has been tested on every macOS release from 12 onward.
What you need for local workflows
Section titled “What you need for local workflows”- A Mac that can run the beta artifact supplied by your release channel.
- Free disk space for downloaded models and converted audio. The repository does not define a reviewed disk-space requirement.
- A network connection when downloading Whisper, local Ollama, or search models.
- Microphone permission to record live audio. Screen Recording permission is additionally needed for the beta macOS system-audio path.
The application can later run Local Mode workflows without a network connection once the required local models are installed. Model downloads remain network operations.
Do not infer support from configuration
Section titled “Do not infer support from configuration”The repository contains release automation for more than one platform, but it does not establish public Linux, Windows, Intel Mac, signing, notarization, or full macOS compatibility support. Use only a release artifact and platform scope that your release owner has explicitly validated.
