Setting contract

Item	Current behavior
Default	No reset runs unless you confirm it.
Valid values	Cancel or confirm Delete all meetings; use Factory reset for a full local reset.
Existing sessions	Delete all meetings deletes all session and index rows, custom templates, managed vault audio, and managed workspaces; it cannot be undone in Synthezia.
New sessions	Start with default settings after the application reloads.
Storage	Clears meeting records and non-secret webview preferences, while retaining the encrypted privacy policy and Keychain secrets.
Privacy	Does not ask a remote provider to delete retained data. Factory reset additionally clears policy and Keychain secrets.
Restart	No restart is required for Delete all meetings. Factory reset reloads the application.

Before you reset

Keep the original recording and export only material you intend to retain.
Remember that exports are stored at destinations you selected and are not removed.
Do not use a reset as the first response to a model or permission error.

What remains

Delete all meetings does not remove downloaded models, imported source files, or exports. Factory reset also clears local models and Ollama runtime state, but never imported source files or exports.
