Choose a summary mode

Your summary uses a structure that matches the source material and can be reviewed against the transcript.

  • General organizes a broad summary with key points, action items, insights, and a short recap.
  • Meeting emphasizes decisions, action items, main topics, and key points.
  • Lecture emphasizes subject, concepts, insights, and a narrative summary.
  • Interview emphasizes participants or roles when discernible from context, themes, notable quotes, and takeaways.
  • Custom uses a prompt you supply for the current generation.
  1. Review the transcript and add accurate session context.
  2. Select the suitable mode in the summary panel.
  3. Generate or regenerate the summary.
  4. Use the output only after checking that its sections are supported by the transcript.

The Interview prompt can describe participants or roles from context; it does not perform speaker diarization or create verified speaker labels.
