What settings change
Section titled “What settings change”Open Settings with Cmd+,. Synthezia saves settings immediately and uses them when a new action needs them. A setting does not retroactively rewrite a stored transcript, summary, or session model.

Storage and privacy
Section titled “Storage and privacy”Non-secret UI and model-selection preferences are stored in webview local storage. Privacy policy and custom templates are stored in the encrypted database, and a remote-provider API key is stored in macOS Keychain. Selecting and explicitly authorizing an External API changes the generation boundary; review the provider page before sending sensitive content.
